Christmas Tree Post

Let me preface this post by reminding you all that decorating (and all things domestic) has never been my thing.  I don’t have the patience for it and I’d rather spend my time and money shopping for boots and purses.

But with that said, I’ve decorated my lil city apartment with all the Christmas stuff I own (which is not much).

One fine looking fake tree.

You may notice that the cat is lurking in the bottom left of the last picture.  He is such a pain in the neck around Christmas.  The tree literally drives him crazy.  When he wasn’t the fattest cat in Lincoln Park, he actually used to climb all the way into to the tree.

MENACE CAT

Awwww! He used to be so little!

These days he is unable to climb all the way into the tree, but he still stands on his hind legs and attempts to climb… shaking the tree and knocking down ornaments while he does so.  When I came home from dinner last night, I found 3 ornaments on the floor.  The tree had been up less than 6 hours.  He’s outta control.

Just staring into the tree. So entranced.

Just staring into the tree.  What. An. Idiot.

Since he annoys me, I annoy him by putting his Christmas sweater on him. And in case you forgot, he is a plus size cat model.

The sweater size is a dog medium.

Aside: sometimes when I post pics like that, I wonder how I have managed to remain single this long?!

So that is that.  My little one bedroom apartment is now ready for the holidays!

And because I maxed out on cat pictures, I will sign off with a Christmas picture of Baby Elliot.
